March 1981, Saint Louis University Laboratory Boys High School, Baguio City and PHILIPPINES - remained fragments of the past linked together and engraved in these boys spirits and hearts! 29 years after and a long list of experiences, ups and downs, cities, jobs, schools, girls, children... beyond time and distance, these boys who are now men in their own right, found each other again! And what better place to meet again - the internet! It started when a batch 81 alumnus begun to surf the net in search of lost batchmates. Then he found another, and the search & reconnection moved by leaps and bounds. By word of mouth and by emails, batchmates have found one another. Sharing their life stories, events & experiences after high school. And to date, keeping one another informed with news and activities.

It was in January 15, 2006 that an internet website address (www.slulbhsbatch81.org) was released with the goal of creating a cyber presence and an internet meeting place to promote their 25th anniversary, and to re-establish communication with as many batchmates as possible. This movement led to several reunion meetings.

Overseas batchmates have organised their own 25th anniversary celebration by holding mini reunions at their adopted country in major cities, while Baguio based alumnus have organised and successfully held its 25th Reunion. Some overseas batchmates have come home to Baguio City Phils. to join the celebration. Two gatherings were held; one in the morning at Camp John Hay joined by their own respective families, while an evening event was held at a hotel function hall joined by some surviving faculty members and its school principal then.

Although based in different parts of the world from the USA, China, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Riyadh KSA, Philippines, Singapore... all are now meeting at this website and joining in the email bandwagon exchanges. They have shared their family photos, including some who have remained a bachelor over the years, alumnus work related photos, family photos & video clips and recreation activity pictures.

The website was developed exclusively for the alumni of SLU Laboratory Boys High - Batch 1981, visitors and guests are more than welcome to access some of the site's features. The site serves as a vehicle to foster and promote camaraderie amongst the alumni as it hopes to reach others in different parts of the globe.
