For The Alumni

This website is an initiative by members of the Alumni. We hope our batchmates are pleased with their fellows in our shared determination to reach out, and extend our congratulations to one another on our 25th Silver Anniversary since high school graduation - 1981.

Contributors: January 2006 - to present

Batchmates' names and form of contributions are evident in sections 'Batchmates Today!', 'Picture Galleries', 'Down Memory Lane', 'Snippets', et al.

Reunion Photos from different location events at different times are attributed to concerned alumni batchmates. To name a few; Manny Llanura, Dante Garcia, Reynaldo Manibog and Anthony 'Tonet' Gaerlan.

Other contributors' names are long to list but represents the alumni's most significant exemplification of camaraderie for others who still remain resilient after all these years.

Their unreluctant submission of photos, write-ups and media that make this website as it is today.

This is an ALUMNI Team Work effort in restoring communication amongst the alumnus by their active email exchanges, individual and group initiatives (eg baguio reunion plans, batch 81 foundation, committee and the like) to spearhead a batch collective goal of maintaining relationships and continuing camaraderie for years to come.

USA and Canada Resident Batchmates - 2006 - 07

Several overseas reunions were held by the alumni citizens and residents at their adopted countries to commemorate our 25th year.

25th Reunion - December 29, 2006

End of year main reunion was held at Baguio City Philippines to commemorate 25 years since their high school graduation. A morning and evening gathering was organised to bring together new found families and surviving high school teachers/mentors on these two special festivities.

SLU Boys High Grand Reunion - December 3, 2006

A gathering of surviving graduates of the same Alma Mater. Attendants going back to the 1950s to 2006 graduates. A parade and the grand reunion was held at Baguio City Philippines. Photos and newsletter can be viewed and read at the 'Batchmates Today!' section.

Bit of irrelevant Trivia, pre January 2006

This website was brought to fruition by three alumnus; Melson Pabustan, Julius Sinlao & Richard Sajonas. Thanks Julius Sinlao (USA). He paid for the registration of our WWW domain address AND covered the yearly cost commitment to have our web hosted in the US (2006 & 2007). Thanks Ricky Sajonas (Canada) for lending his invaluable Louisian yearbook 1981 which is now used in our Alumni Yearbook Online (2006). Thanks to J B d G of 4E for sponsoring the yearly cost commitment (2008 & 2009). Website Administrator for 2010 - 2011.

The alumnus behind this website campaign do not seek self glorification. It is plainly and simply agreed for the benefit of the alumni batch. Paramount in their interest is to reopen ties and rebuild communication links between former classmates, old friends or 'foes' - who may have missed it over the last 29 years to rekindle, reminisce and marvel at the growing up years.
